Experiencing A Heart Attack

A heart attack is a life-threatening medical emergency that occurs when the blood flow that carries oxygen to the heart is blocked, which leads to starvation of heart muscle of oxygen and it gradually dies.

Heart attacks are more common in adults but can occur in children and teenagers.

These are some of the symptoms someone having a heart attack would experience;

- Chest pain, sudden tightness, or squeezing in the center of the chest

- Radiating pain in the left arm moving from the chest to the arm. In some cases, both arms can be affected as well as the neck, jaw, back, and stomach

- Difficulty in breathing

- Coughing or wheezing

- Feeling dizzy or lightheaded

- Sweating

Having severe chest pain is one of the most common signs that someone having a heart attack would experience. In some cases, people do not experience severe pain, instead, they experience discomfort similar to indigestion.

If you think someone is having a heart attack, contact The Ambulance Company immediately and explain to them the exact circumstances at hand for swift emergency care.
